What the site collects and why. Last updated August 25, 2026.

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
• Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. It sets cookies (names beginning _ga) to tell returning browsers apart, and reports page views, referrers, and approximate location and device information to Google, which processes this data on our behalf. Google describes how it handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We look at aggregate numbers only. It is the site’s only third-party script; there is no advertising. Blocking it — with a content blocker or Google’s opt-out add-on — does not affect any function of the site.
• Server logs. Like nearly every website, the server records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for capacity planning and abuse prevention. Logs are kept briefly and are not shared or used to profile anyone.
• About the companies listed. The directory describes companies, not people, using information those companies’ suppliers published about them. Contact details shown, if any, are business locations taken from official sources.
• External links. Source links lead to manufacturers’ and distributors’ own sites, which have their own privacy practices.
