Distributor Atlas collects as little as a website can.

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
• No tracking. No advertising or analytics scripts, no tracking cookies, no fingerprinting. The pages are served without any third-party code.
• Server logs. Like nearly every website, the server records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for capacity planning and abuse prevention. Logs are kept briefly and are not shared or used to profile anyone.
• About the companies listed. The directory describes companies, not people, using information those companies’ suppliers published about them. Contact details shown, if any, are business locations taken from official sources.
• External links. Source links lead to manufacturers’ and distributors’ own sites, which have their own privacy practices.
